Built in 1907 and designed by the state architect, Rognvaldur Olafsson, the building plan takes the form of a cross and was built using wood imported from Norway. I was walking down a black sand beach and came across this church at 11 PM. The midnight sun meant 4 hours of sunset each day and another 4 hours of sunrise each day.
