Just before sunrise is a magical time. The waves are preparing for the day and often crash onto the beach quietly to allow people a few more minutes of tranquil sleep. For those of who venture out and walk the beaches in the morning we are able to view the dark water in unique light. This photo was taken over a 30 second period and shows the fluid motion of a wave as it pushes through the pier pilings.
